JoSAA Counselling 2024 seat matrix released, 17740 seats in offer across 23 IITs

The JoSAA 2024 seat matrix, issued on Tuesday, reveals a significant increase in the number of IIT seats, with a total of 17,740 seats available for counselling. Specifically, there has been an increase of 355 IIT seats compared to the previous year. Notable increases include 20 seats in IIT Bhubaneswar, 12 seats in IIT Bombay, 30 seats in IIT Kharagpur, 50 seats in IIT Jodhpur, 30 seats in IIT Gandhinagar, 84 seats in IIT Patna, 10 seats in IIT Guwahati, 40 seats in IIT Bhilai, 10 seats in IIT Tirupati, and 75 seats in IIT Dharwad.
