Brahmastra releases across 8,913 screens worldwide; widest release for an Indian film ever

The Ayan Mukherji directorial starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Brahmastra hits screens today. Touted to be one of the biggest releases of recent times, the film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy with guest appearances from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. After making headlines with its promotional campaign, Brahmastra, which comes with immense hopes and expectations attached, witnessed a good spate of advance bookings. Now we hear that taking things a notch higher the makers of the film have locked one of the widest releases ever for the film, with around 8,913 screens worldwide.
